Teachers for the 21st Century Program has been approved by the State Board of Educators Certification to offer the principal certification. T21CACP principal will be prepared to have the knowledge and the skills to implement mandates of Senate Bill 1 of 1995, and the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

Teachers For The 21st Century's mission is to engage the principal candidate in reflective analysis in order to actively seek out and participate in their own learning of knowledge and skills. This will prepare them to implement effective programs which will help the bilingual, limited English, special education population, and migrant students. The principal of the Twenty-First Century needs to be the instructional leader who empowers his/her teachers to create strategic readers, strategic writers, independent thinkers, problem solvers, self-directed learners, and life long learners. She/He needs to create a positive school climate and culture where parents can effectively participate in the education of their children. The most important knowledge and skill a principal needs; however, is to be able to analyze, synthesize and evaluate data to immediately improve low student performance.
