Education
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited university.
- Official copies of all college transcripts.
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.5.
Content Hours
- Minimum of 12 credit hours in a combination of English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies with a combined minimum GPA of 2.50.
- 24 hours in the specific certificate subject should include English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies with a combined minimum GPA of 2.50.
If Educated Outside the U.S.
Provide acceptable evaluations and TOEFL passing scores for foreign credentials.
These hour counts reflect program screening guidance; official TEA content requirements may vary by certificate area.
